About Our Host:
Frameworks’ mission is to teach youth to manage their emotions, develop healthy relationships, and make good decisions for academic, career, and personal success. Our vision is to build a positive social and emotional learning community for youth through partnerships with schools and youth serving organizations and in collaboration with their parents/caregivers. Developing these critical life skills helps every youth more effectively handle life challenges in order to succeed in academic, social, professional, and community environments. Our work is based on the five components of social and emotional learning that together form social and emotional intelligence: self-awareness, social-awareness, self-management, responsible decision making, and communication and conflict resolution skills. These SEL components are integrated into all our research-based, gender-specific and coed experiential youth programs as well as into all our adult SEL trainings, presentations and workshops. Please visit us online at www.myframeworks.org.
