Working Women is teaming up with Vaco Tampa to host a roundtable geared toward up & coming women in technology. Women hold just five percent of leadership positions in the tech industry, and 40 percent of women who start in entry-level positions in IT companies never even get past the middle-management level.
We'll hear from current women leaders in tech leadership about how they achieved their current roles, and how we can shatter stigmas surrounding women in tech, once and for all.
Our presenter this month is Jane Barr. Jane is an iPEC certified Executive Coach, Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner, professional speaker, and author of the book, “WISEWOMAN LEADERSHIP”. In addition to her coaching credentials, Barr also has more than 30 years’ experience as a Management Consultant, leading technology projects for the national retail industry including: Body Central, Circle K, CVS, Crowley’s Dept. Stores, Eckerd Drug, GAP, Jo-Ann Fabric, Lo-Jack, Longs Drug Stores, Luxottica Group, Raley’s, REI, SAAN, Stuarts Department Stores, Vera Bradley, and Wolf Camera.
