Business owners typically focus their energies on growth. From the beginning, nearly all energies are directed at sustaining and growth. There are specific ways business owners can ensure that they have an asset when they are ready to exit. Unlike the unicorn exits we read about in the news, businesses valued between 500k-5million are sold at considerable multiples and growing this asset should be a consideration in all business practices. Your business can be more than just a source of cash flow…make sure you are doing all you can to protect and secure your ability to exit when you’re ready!

You'll learn about:

  • Ways to sell your company (structures, types of deals)
  • Valuation
  • Tax returns
  • Seller’s discretionary earnings
  • Multiples
  • Businesses as an asset (not just cash flow while you run it) versus a job
